As first-time developers, the clients sought to maximise the site’s development potential without compromising design quality or financial return. Beyond delivering a well-considered development outcome, they required guidance throughout the entire process, including feasibility, approvals, consultant coordination, and navigating the complexities of residential development.

Challenges

Clients limited knowledge on process, stormwater control, surrounding neighbour negotiation & liaison.

Solution

Beyond the design itself, the project focused on guiding first-time developers through every stage of the land division process. Through consultant coordination, stormwater solutions and neighbour liaison, the clients gained the knowledge and confidence to successfully pursue a second development project shortly afterwards.

We’d never developed anything before. Space Design walked us through the feasibility, the land division, the stormwater, even the conversations with the neighbours — and we’ve since started our second one.
